Benefits of Membership

Members enjoy an excellent monthly newsletter, "The New Zealand Inventor", which provides interesting and inspiring local and international stories on inventions and events/meeting information. Contributions are very welcome, and should be sent to the Editor: Ian Montanjees

The Monthly Forum is open to members and visitors. Visitors/non-members sign the visitors book as having read a confidentiality agreement at the door. The Forum entry fee is $3 for members and $5 for non-members.

Members all agree the Forum offers a valuable service of fellowship and information-sharing between inventors, and numerous valuable contacts are made, particularly during supper!

If you take up a voluntary role, you may be invited to join the Forum Management Committee.

Forum Membership

New Forum members pay a one time joining fee of $50 for Auckland Region members, with a $48 annual subscription fee
(so, on first joining, $98.)

For rural/student members the initial joining fee is just $10, with a $48 annual subscription fee (so, on first joining, $58.)

Associate and corporate membership is also available.

The Forum Format

After all visitors / non-members sign in at the door, the meeting may proceed either with an interesting speaker and / or a "Show and tell" session for those wishing to display their new inventions or ideas in progress. Next may be an open "Help" session for problem solving. The evening will conclude with our 'all-important' networking time over a tea / coffee
and biscuits supper.

Forum Venue

Open Forums are held at the Quaker Rooms, on the corner of Sylvan Avenue and Mount Eden Road, Auckland.
